This is a website that was originally related to an AHRC funded project that supported the research of Robert Stern on Løgstrup’s book The Ethical Demand. The project ran from September 2015 to February 2017.
The main publication was a monograph on Løgstrup’s The Ethical Demand, and also a translation of his 1950 lectures in German Kierkegaards und Heideggers Existenzanalyse und ihr Verhältnis zur Verkündigung. Further publications have followed.
The project also involved a conference on Løgstrup and natural law (at the University of Aarhus) and Løgstrup and Levinas (at Sheffield), which formed the basis for a special issue of The Monist.
I have written a blog about what I worked on during the project, which has also continued since then to provide information on work by me and others associated with Løgstrup.
